Charge 3 - rotating wrist no longer turns on display

Have had my Charge 3 for about 18 months.  A few weeks ago, it stopped displaying the watch face, etc. when rotating my wrist to see the time, number of steps, etc.  However, tapping it twice and pressing the side button still work, so it is still usable.  But this requires that I have both hands free to make the display visible and hence is very inconvenient.

I have rebooted numerous times, including the restart where you connect it to power and hold the side button in for >8 seconds.  Nothing seems to help.

Is my Charge 3 broken or is there some setting I can change to restore normal functionality?

Thanks in advance for any help,

PP.

Hold in side button a few seconds; look for 'Screen Wake'; tap to toggle on or off.

Thank you!  That fixed it straight away.  Must have been accidentally toggled OFF at some point.

Thanks again!

I’ve been able to get to the screen where it screen wake, but the toggle part to turn on/off is not lit up anymore & won’t allow me to make this change.
Any thoughts on this happening.

That probably means you are in Sleep Mode, which prevents anything to make the screen light up and all notifications.  Look for Sleep Mode near Screen Wake in same menu.
