Charge 3 run distance changes in the Fitbit App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The app’s gps tracking has started doing this weird thing where, at first it shows my run normally, but a couple hours later changes the total distance to a very small number. It will still show my pace per km, and the map will count each km, but the total distance (and the overall pace) gets lost.

Hello @L_D_A. Welcome to the community forums!

Thank you for the detailed information. In order to take a look at this, is there any chance that you can send a screenshot? To attach a screenshot, please follow the instructions in this thread

In addition, please reply to the following questions:

- Since when have you been experiencing this issue?
- Does this happen after an update to the Fitbit App and with other type of workouts?

I look forward to your response.

Wilson,

Thanks for the response. This happened for the first time last Thursday, June 17, and has happened with all three runs I've tracked with the app since then. I'm not sure if there was an update (I usually just update all my iPhone apps as they pop up without paying attention).  Running is the only type of workout I track distance for on the app.  I wasn't able to include screenshots, as what pops up when I click on the camera icon is not what's described on the thread (it asks me for a source, and entering the file location didn't work; I also got a note that said I don't have permission to upload images).

@L_D_A Thank you for your reply.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience about attaching images, but I appreciate the detailed information. At this time, I'd recommend contacting our Support Team for further assistance. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone, but phone wait times have been longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat. Click here to get connected.

Note that you if you contact them through chat, you will have the chance to attach screenshots and they will be able to further review this and get back to you with more information.

See you around.
