Charge 3 screen developed white lines

My screen developed white lines across it whilst charging. I have tried to reboot my watch as advised in other posts & nothing has worked. I’ve let the charge go completely & recharged & this hasn’t worked either. My watch it still recording my activity ect & syncing with my phone. The only problem I have is I cannot read anything on the screen of my watch due to the white lines. I’ve been try to reboot numerous times for over a week. I need help & advice from the support team please.

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 3 has white lines and it's hard to read. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a long restart. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable. 
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds. 
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration. 
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur. 
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  8. Try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hi I have done the long restart, but just tried all of the restarts again. I have also tried changing the clock face too every option within my Fitbit app & nothing is working. Kind regards Debs

Hi I’ve tried to restart watch again today. All the ways on other messages I’ve read & the actions in reply to my post. I’ve also tried changing the clock face again & nothing has fixed the lines. If anything they’re worse. 
can you please tell me how I escalate my issue.
