Charge 3 screen dimming from outside to center

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 3 screen has been slowly getting dimmer over the past few months. I couldn't read anything when I was in any bright environment. Now, certain words are completely unreadable. Plus, it is going black around the outside and slowly getting worse. Its so bad that I can only read the 2 middle numbers of the clock (format 12:00). It is now completely useless and I am pissed.

Yes I have read through other posts. Yes I have tried resets. Yes I have tried slow reset, long reset, and reset through the settings tab. nothing helps.

I have photos to prove how bad it is. (I dont know why I can't post them here???)

Hello @Bluepujoo, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, I'll be glad to help you with this.

Thank you for sharing that you've been having trouble with the display of the Charge 3 that is too dim or dark and that you've tried the recommended troubleshooting steps found in the Community.

In addition to the steps you mentioned, could you please confirm if you have tried to disable the Sleep Mode and Do not disturb features on the device?

Please keep me posted.

I have the same problem, exactly as you describe. It's a real nuisance. None of the troubleshooting steps helped. I'm not impressed. It seems to have started after the latest update a couple of months ago. It was perfectly fine before that.

Some sections of the screen are completely unreadable.
