The last couple weeks I’ve noticed my Fitbit will not come on when I flip my wrist and I have to tap it several times for it to some on and sometimes that doesn’t work. Since this is my third Fitbit charge 3 in less than 7 months I’m very frustrated.

Welcome to the Community Forums @JessicaMoore44! I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is not coming on automatically.  

Have you verified that Screen Wake is enabled on Charge 3? Please try these steps:

  • On your tracker, press and hold the button until the Quick Settings menu appears.
  • Find the Screen Wake option and tap it to turn it off. 
  • If it is disabled, it has a diagonal line through it. 

If the Screen Wake is enable, but not working as it should I'd recommend restarting your device by following these steps. 

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

You’re awesome! I didn’t know how to get to that setting so thank you, I knew there had to be a way to check it. I guess it quit fuctioning with an update or something because it worked and then it quit.

I went to my settings on my Charge 3 by swiping to the left until the last option which is settings. From there Do Not Disturb was on when I turned that off it fixed the issue of not turning on when I flipped my wrist 🙂
