Charge 3 screen faded

I got a Fitbit Charge 3 in 2018 for Xmas and now display is faded & I cant see it at all. I can see on the forum that other people have had similar problems and have replaced them. Typically my warranty has only just run out - I have followed the suggestions to fix it including connecting it to charger turning it off and then taking it off charge and turning back on with smiley face which has not worked.

It cost £129 and I am not impressed that I am now left with a device that I cannot use which has lasted about a year. If I do buy another one it will not be this model and I wont be recommending it either.

Hi
Thanks for responding - my fitbit is turning on but the screen is faded and you cant see anything on the face. It is working as it sending data regarding steps and sleep but I can only access results with my phone and not on my fitbit.
I can see that this it is a persistant fault as many people have reported the same fault.
Have you got any other ways this can be fixed
Thanks
Wendy
