Charge 3 screen fault - lines of dead pixels. Again.

Today, after charging my Charge 3, a dozen horizontal black lines have appeared across the screen (I assume dead pixels.)

 

This Charge 3 is a 4 month old warranty replacement for my previous one that had the same issues (albeit at around the 17 month mark.)

 

The restart, long restart, and clock change have all been done (as suggested when I had the issue on my previous one) and don't fix the issue and it is getting frustrating.

 

Can anyone help?

Hello there,

I've got the same problem, it started off with just a couple of lines at the top of the screen, now there's lines all over it. I've followed the same restart, long restart and it's still the same. I've changed the clock face, but all of them now are getting harder to read because of the lines. Mines a month out of warranty too, so doubt customer service will be of any help. 

I'd be interested to know if you find a solution to this. Best of luck.

A month out of warranty? That sucks!

 

I'm aware of the customer support teams previously offering discounts on new trackers for faults when not long out warranty but it hardly inspires confidence in the product (and they may/may not still be doing it for out of warranty faults but always worth asking if they haven't offered anything as a solution.)

 

I'd have expected that my warranty replacement would be at least of the same standard and build quality as my previous one. V disappointing.

 

If there is a solution offered, I'll follow it up on this thread. 🤞
