Charge 3 screen has a white line across the screen from left to right

I just received my tracker about an hour ago. I've turned it on and synced it and I've got a solid white line across the middle of the screen! Is there any way of fixing this or is it going to have to be sent back for replacement?

 

A reboot didn't help...

@simonrhurt Sorry to hear this and thanks for restarting the device. Is the display blank or does it otherwise look normal?

Hi, the display works even after a reboot but it just has a straight white
line all the way across 😞

Mine had the white line while the update was being processed...took about 30 minutes...

Did you get the update firmware message when you went through the install process in the app??

I received my Fitbit Charge 3 yesterday and I also have a white line across the screen. What can I do to remove it?

Update the firmware via the App.

me too factory reset now its stuck on smily face - tech support said it's been escalated and I will get an email later - really peeps come on

My Charge 3, which I purchased yesterday, has a few lines going right through the middle of the display. I restarted it three times but it has had no effect. Everything else seems to function just fine though.

I too have this problem with a white line across my screen, it wasn't there when I went through setup though. It appeared on the screen when I reconnected to top up the charge after setup.

could I have chosen show battery status when I chose my clock face while in charging mode?

Just got mine as well... exactly the same problem. Whacking great line across the screen as soon as I turned it on, updating now and it's still there, below the bar showing the status of the update.

Also having the same issue. I received my Charge 3 today and it had the same issue at start up and after a firmware update. Please advise Fitbit.
