Charge 3 screen has a white line across the screen from left to right

I just received my tracker about an hour ago. I've turned it on and synced it and I've got a solid white line across the middle of the screen! Is there any way of fixing this or is it going to have to be sent back for replacement?

 

A reboot didn't help...

Lol, Fitbit is such garbage. My 1st unit had dead pixels (black line), so they sent me a replacement. I used the old one a bit more, then go to switch to the replacement, and it has a white line of pixels!

Probably won't be able to get it replaced now, so I'll just run it into the ground and never buy Fitbit again (and of course spread the word that their manufacturing practices suck). Gave my kid the other one to play with--that's pretty much all it's good for!

Surprisingly mine disappeared after 48 hours of doing nothing

Same issue. Was out in a walk and using the exercise tracker. Towards the end of walk checked my steps and when I tapped to light up clock Face all white lines across. What do I do?

Honestly.. I did nothing.. after 48 hours mine disappeared. If yours has
not, it is beat to then contact fitbit and request replacement..

Contact their customer service. They will try a few things. If that doesn't work, AND your warranty has run out. You're hooped!!! Throw the thing away and buy another brand. There are lots of cheaper ones out there for far less money. Personally I am boycotting the Fitbit as this issue has gone on far too long without a fix. Fitbit needs to do much better for the price

White lunes appeared on mine and then screen went totally black. HR3 has flaws

Hi.

This is all so frustrating. they have decided to replace mine, but i can't get the same one I have. I have a rose gold one with dark purple band. It was perfect for me as I used it for work and for play and the look nicely transitioned. I also love the fitbit app and have been with fitbit for over 3 years. I was looking forward to moving up to the Charge 4 around Christmas time.

 

However, after this experience, I too will just wear the black one until it dies and move over to Garmin. Very sad for this and it is really too bad for fitbit to lose such a loyal "customer."

I have the same issue as the original post, brand new fitbit, synced it for the first time tonight, and now a horizontal white line across the screen as it's charging.

My tracker screen is totally black now. Nothing visible except on phone app.
I purchased mine on vacation and didn’t keep the receipt. I would get a replacement if I were you.

There is a new product out that monitors one’s temperature/ekg so soon as it’s been out a few months, I will replace my fitbit.

I did enjoy the HR3 other than that design flaw. My best,

you'd think with this many complaints about the same issue, they would do
something about it OR quite selling them until its fixed

How very odd.  Perhaps  should be patient!  I have called the helpline and was talked through all the possible processes in a clear and concise manor, but to no avail.  The call centre was most helpful and they will send me a new device.  This will be my third Fitbit in four years.  This latest one was still under guarantee. I will stay in touch when I get the device to work properly.  Thank you.

Screen totally black but I use the app. Plan to purchase a new tracker that monitors temperature and vitals once it’s been on market a couple months
