My fitbit charge 3 has lines on background and is very dim, have turned Fitbit off , and turned on again still the same.

Hi @Sandrapenn, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since the screen has lines on the background and it's hard to read. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
