My Charge 3 screen is fading. I've seen a couple other similar posts in the community and the advice given is to reset the fitbit while on the charger. I have done that and it did not solve the issue.

As you've already tried the restart, the next step would be to contact customer support. They can check your warranty status and advise on your replacement options.
