Charge 3 screen is fading

My charge 3 is beginning to fade.. My numbers are now becoming half #'s and are very dim..  So disappointed in the quality of these charge 3's.. I have friend with charge 2 and they are still going 4 and 5 years later.. Mine not quite 2 years and going, hubby had 3 and of course he now has a dead fitbit.. Mine looks like it's not far behind dying a slow death here.. So sad.

Hi @Darbie12, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since the the screen became dim faded. I totally understand how you feel about this and we appreciate your feedback since this helps us to keep improving.

Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

no, not the best answer.. Hit that to see if there was a best answer.. Fitbit is not the best tracker going.. Very disappointed in a 200 dollar item lasting less than a year with hubby's charge 3, was replaced 3 times and mine that was purchased lost face after the warranty was up... Workmanship is terrible

Had the same frustration. Thankfully it was under warranty. They replaced it. Also fortunate that they sent two replacements. One of the two replacements died w/in a few months; same screen problem as the first I sent. I figured out it must be that I was showering with it. Now I take it off and that seems to be helping.
