I have been issues with my charge 3 for some time now,part of the screen shows a white a streak from top to bottom, and after a few hours the screen goes blank.i have tried restarting it a couple of times, but it ends up having the same issue...please help!

I got the same white streaks. It was fine yesterday, and then I noticed them when I woke up this morning.
I’ve done a reboot, changed the clock face, and a power refresh. Nothing helps.
What to do now?

This happened to me several times. I recently applied the updated and now my display is completely black. I've tried all the troubleshooting and nothing works. My device is one month past expiration, but they sent me a 35% off coupon to "upgrade". Mind you, I had to pay 50% off last year to upgrade to the Charge 3. I feel this is unacceptable by Fitbit and they should just go out of business.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post, I did exactly as adviced in your post, but that didn't seem to solve the problem.
Right now the screen has gone totally blank, and while resetting it, the screen comes up for a second a few time with the progress bar on display, and also the white streak that seem to have taken up a quarter of my screen,and then everything goes blank again.
I have tried all the steps a couple of times but didn't get the desired result.

I have done the same exact thing to address the "Dim Screen" issue after the last update. I am still having both issues; streaks on the bottom and extremely dim display. Device was working like a champ until the last update. Device is no more than 1yr old.

You guys should really stop sending us these steps THAT DON'T WORK. Or work for a day and then revert back, and never work again. Do you not see exactly how many Charge 3's are literally failing right now? How many posts in these forums and complaints on Twitter and Facebook? And all you do is offer a 35% discount, which isn't even applicable to the newest devices. Maybe try creating a product that won't go faulty right after the warranty ends. 🙄 Fitbit is never getting another red cent of my hard earned money, I'll tell you that much.

EXACTLY! I even got a used one off ebay recently, mostly out of curiosity... and it also has the lines now, AND the battery drains in 1-2 days of very little use. You can't even use that discount on the newest devices, which is hilariously insulting.

Do you have a plan B option if all the attempted fixes don’t seem to be working?
This must be Fitbit’s version of Apple slowing the older phones to get people to purchase new products. If that is what’s happening then I am disappointed in you Fitbit; shame on you. Please just have a fix for this, that works, please.

I didn’t know about the update issue until I looked into this forum...
i decided to try the update to see if I could get rid of the white lines...
IS THERE ANY WAY TO CANCEL THE UPDATE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE???
Lines going thru an almost unreadable screen is better than one that just goes black! ...
