I can’t see the white data that is displayed on my Fitbit.   I want to make it brighter but I can’t see anything so I don’t know if I’m swiping correctly to make it brighter.  Help please.  I have a Fitbit 3.

Hello again @Katdav16

Your not changing the clock face directly on your Charge 3. Your changing by going through the Fitbit App.

Open the Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Charge 3. Now tap Gallery then tap clock tab. Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want then tap Install.

If the problem persist I’d recommend contacting Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

😉 I hope this helps

Hello @BooBoo2014

I wonder if you accidentally put your screen brightness on dim. To change the brightness to dim, normal or max you need to swipe left two times from your clock face then tap the settings gear wheel. Next tap display then chose which settings you prefer.

Here is a YouTube video that may help guide you since your screen is too dim to see: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4dzr9PVKdRw

😃 Please let me know if this helps and provides you with an answer to your screen being dim.

That's great except I can't see the settings gear.  Screen is black even in a dark room.

Hello @Katdav16

If your screen is completely black have you tried restarting your Charge 3. Here’s how it’s properly done: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186.htm

If restarting your Charge 3 fails to address the issue try changing the clock face going through the Fitbit App. Sometimes changing the clock face will address screen issues: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2311.htm

😃 Please let me know if this helped

Tried restarting it several times. Can’t change clock face because I can’t see the clock. The screen is totally black.

Just go to settings/brightness and select brightness you want Dim/Normal/Auto. It defaults to dim.
