Display screen is to dim to see  anything very clearly after a firmware update.  Brightness setting is set to normal,  worse when set to auto. How can i fix this?

Hi there, @Jlq. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 3 and checking the settings.

Please restart your Charge 3 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

I’m having exactly the same problem. I’ve been through the forums and multiple people are having the same problems. The mods are giving the same responses only to be told the suggestions don’t work. I’m so frustrated! I brought my daughter a Fitbit for Christmas, a new model, but I will not be purchasing another one. Moderators you are losing customers left and right so I would suggest a fix for this issue that actually works.

Did as suggested, still can barely see the screen indoors and impossible to see anything when outdoors. Very disappointing.

I can see that my problem is not going to get fixed from the answers already, fit bit need to do something about this problem as I have had two Fitbit charge 3’s and both have face fade, if they weren’t gifts I would never have got another one after the first one. Loosing customers I am sure as my response to anyone thinking of getting a Fit bit is  DON’T
