Since my problem is a blank screen on the fitbit watch, I have no way to see if anything has changed. I have tried to restart and I do feel a vibration, but no screen. It's working, b/c I can see it on the app. Help!!!

I had a charge 3 died after a few months, replaced. Strap broke, replaced. strap broke, replaced. Started vibrating continually until battery dead. Restarted reset whatever. Came back to life, a few weeks later. Dead. Blank. Nothing. Out of warranty bought one with screen fault cheap to get going, screen failed completely, then strap broke.
Save yourself the pain and do what I am doing, throw it in the bin.

I'm having the dame issue. The screen on my Charge 3 is very faint and doesn't come on at all unless I press the start up button. I've tried restarting but nothing works. No problems syncing or otherwise.

Thanks for letting us know about your Charge 3, and the steps tried on your own. I'm sorry you're having this inconvenience and to make sure all the possible steps have been exhausted, may I know if you've also tried adjusting the screen brightness and making sure the Sleep Mode is turned off?
