Hi there @SlinkyJen! Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to see you here!

Thank you for letting us know that your Charge 3 doesn't turn on after not being used for some time and after being charged.

I suggest you to try this:

  • Sync your Fitbit with the Fitbit app.
  • Restart your Charge 3:
    • Connect the tracker to the charging cable and press and hold the button for 8 seconds.
    • If the display still doesn't turn on:
      • Connect the device to the charging cable.
      • Press and hold the button for 15 seconds while the device is connected to the charging cable.
      • The device turns on and shows a battery symbol. Two vibrations occur: first a short one, then a medium one.
      • The device turns off.
      • The tracker turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: There will be a total of 7 short vibrations.
      • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device will shut down.
      • Reconnect the device to the charging cable.
  • Change the clock face
  • Sync your device with the Fitbit app again.

Hiya

Thank you so much for replying and so quickly too. I appreciate that.

I was a bit slow replying. Apologies for that, I couldn't try it until today.

Although, I have tried this in the past and it wouldn't work, they had to send me a replacement face.

So, I tried again, and sadly it hasn't worked yet again.

It must be synced to my phone somehow, as I do get messages at night to go to bed, even though I'm not wearing it, so it isn't tracking steps etc.

I certainly won't be asking for another replacement face.

I'm thinking maybe I should just update to a Samsung watch to sync with my phone.

It stresses me out too much trying this every time, when it never works.

Thank you so much for your help though.
