Charge 3 screen only works when it's warm

The app works too and sleep patterns and blood oxygen levels are still being monitored.

Any ideas please?

Hi, @Tourer4304 , check the brightness setting on your Charge 3.  It may have accidentally been set to dim.  It is under the settings menu on the watch itself.

Hi Julia_G,
Thanks for taking an interest and sincere apologies for the slow response, but I have been exploring how I can ‘adjust’ my Charge 3.
I can report a slight success. In the dark one morning I managed to see enough of the screen to get to the brightness setting and change it from Auto to Normal. It has meant that in bright conditions I still cannot see the screen, but in poorer light some of the screen is visible - enough to see the hour and the first digit of the minutes. Better than nothing, but not what I paid for! I might try a different face though.
I am pleased to say that you have been more helpful than Fitbit support who guided me through a few basic things, but then offered me 35% off a new one as there is no Fitbit repair service it turns out, so it is a real throw-away company in my view. I will never buy another one, that’s for sure.
Anyway, many thanks again and all the very best for the future.
Kind regards, Mike. (Tourer4304)

There seems to be a common problem where the display on the Charge 3 stops working. Some people (including me) have found that restarting fixes this: Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger

Hi Will,
Apologies for the slow response.
When talking to Fitbit support they tried that with me and it didn’t work.
However, now I have half a screen I’ll give it another go when I get the
time.
Will post when I have tried it if I have success.
Many thanks,
Mike.
