Watch needed charging, plugged in as usual to charge. Charged fine, wore to sleep and woke up in morning and noticed it was flat/dead. Went to charge and is only displaying a smiley face then horizontal line across screen only. No buttons work to reset no vibration works. Just blank screen when off power supply (charge)
Please help!

Thanks for the details and troubleshooting performed. I recommend you to perform a long restart on your Charge 3 by doing the following:
1. Connect the Charge 3 to the charging cable.
2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
4. The device turns off.
5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
7. Plug the Charge 3 into the charging cable again.
By the way, I moved your post to the Charge 3 board so other users can also provide assistance.

I also have a dim screen, but when I do the restart I do not get a progress bar. What kind of time does it take between number 4 and number 5. It is pretty instant or is it 1/2 hour? Mine will not progress to number 5. What am I doing wrong?

Hi and thankyou for your assistance on this fitbit issue.
I have plugged it in and also via my computer also. It is unresponsive. I don't feel any vibrations or buttons working. It is a blank screen with only a thin solid horizontal line across screen only when plugged into a power source. Once unplugged/disconnected. Completely unresponsive..

@js2009 Normally takes a few seconds for you to see the white progress bar. Sometimes your Charge 3 won't vibrate but it'll show the bar on the screen. If it's not completing the restart, unplug it from the charger and clean the contacts so you can plug it again and perform the restart one more time.
@JoshyJ1000 Since your Charge 3 is still unresponsive, I recommend you to contact our Support team by chat or phone call. Please explain them all the troubleshooting steps performed so they can assist you properly.
