Charge 3 screen so dark it cannot be read at all

My Charge 3 screen was getting dim but now it is so dark it is totally unreadable - even in total darkness.

 

I have tried all reset processes but nothing changes. I tried the online support process - what a joke! After 20 minutes no response to my query at all.

 

I have already had a Charge 3 change as the first screen went dim - now I have to spend money because a faulty product??

 

hopefully this will get some response from Fitbit

Same issue with my 3. My 2 died after 16 months. Will not purchase another Fitbit.

Hello community admins - @WilsonFitbit@MarreFitbit @MatthewFitbit @AndreaFitbit - Could you please share this thread with the product development team and then post their response about this failing technology? We have tried all the reboot and other suggestions in this forum to our absolute frustration. You have hundreds of customers posting about dimming/dark screens (imagine the hundreds, if not thousands, who do not post on forums) and not getting much response, besides non-working suggestions. Thank you!

I have the same problem as everyone on here. I’ve had this for 3 years. I can read it on my phone app but cannot see anything at all on the Watch screen. I have gone through all the steps of troubleshooting. Looks like moving onto another brand.

So frustrating. My Charge 3  dark and reset not working.

inferior product o would never tell anyone to buy Fitbit! 
this is the second one in 3 years that did same thing
