Charge 3 screen stuck with agenda message

My screen is stuck on the message : Please make sure all permissions for the agenda app are enabled in the Fitbit app. I’ve tried clearing of all day. Following the instructions of restarting the Fitbit by connecting it to charged and pressing the button. But the button doesn’t seem to work, I don’t get a smiley face. The charger is charging the device and it does vibrate when I connect it to the charger. I’ve only had it since Christmas and so far it’s been a rather disappointing experience
