I have tried the method of attaching it to the charge cable and holding the button down for 15 seconds etc - however I can’t see the screen so I have no idea what it’s doing . Where is the brightness setting on the app ?

I checked up on when I bought it and luckily it was still under warranty. I messaged the live chat tech people to see if they could help me fix it . Unfortunately it was a no go therefore they offered me either a free replacement for the same model or 50% off a newer model .
I took the 50% off offer
