Charge 3 screen too dim after the update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since the update my screen is so dim it's hard to see even in the dark. I have tried plugging it in and do the hard update. That didn't work. I have tried changing the brightness. That didn't work. I have changed the clock face as I have seen in other posts. That didn't work.  This is the second fitbit 3. The first failed after an update which left lines on the screen. Fitbit replaced it with a refurbished one. Help please!

Hi there @Karentw, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3's screen is too dim after the update, I understand where your concern is coming from and how you must be feeling. Thanks for your time and efforts in trying to fix the issue prior to posting here, I'll be glad to continue helping you.

Before considering other options, could you please confirm if the Sleep Mode setting is activated on your device? This settings makes the screen more dim and prevents the device from vibrating and turning on with the wrist rotation. For more information, see: How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Hi

I understand what issues you are seeing...follow the following steps at the bottom

1: turn on your devive

2: go to setting on the devive

3:scroll down to brightness and change it to light or auto.

hope this works
