My Charge 3 screen is excessively dim, even with a full charge. I've tried restarting it with no result. It will occasionally come on bright but after a few seconds it's dim again and I can't get it back. This is indoors and is still difficult to read. Outside with any amount of sunlight, it's impossible to read.

thank you, it had inadvertently been set to dim at some point, not sure how as it was fine when I put it on charge to shower then put it back on before I walked out the door and noticed it was to dark to read the time, so thank you for suggesting to check the settings

Where do we find the settings? They really have terrible UI for this sort of thing.

I also tried the reset. I didn't work. I've only had this fitbit for 6 months. Very frustrating.

I am having this same issue. Have tried restarting and fixing the brightness settings. Hoping to find some other strategies so resolve this problem.

Yeah, lol, this whole thing is highly suspect. Makes me question whether the new watches can even do what they say. And also that they may just break down in a few months or whatever. If they want to move into a new product line and not support year old products, they should just shift everyone over to it at cost. They are taking planned obsolescence to new heights lol.

I think Google and the beancounters are sadly in charge now.
Gone is the quality hardware, and everything now seems to be rushed to market without testing, with all emphasis placed on profit.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are backdoor tracking functions on the newer devices.
