Charge 3 screen wake isn't working

On Oct 7 I purchase a new Charge 3. Nov 1 the screen went blank but still kept track of steps and synced to the Android app.

 

I returned to Best Buy on Nov 2 and they gave me another new Charge 3 at no charge. Yay!  Now on Jan 3, the replacement has gone blank. I can wake it up with 4 or 5 sharp thumps on the face but it goes blank very quickly.

 

Sometimes I can wake it up by pressing the side button but it goes blank and won't easily wake up. What I mean by going blank is when I bring my arm up to see the time it does not light up the face. Am I the only one with this problem? Is this under warranty? Is there something I can do?

Thanks for troubleshooting this display issue. Have you checked if the screen wake option is on? If you haven't, I recommend pressing and holding the side button of your Charge 3 until it vibrates, then tap the “screen wake” option to adjust this setting.
