Charge 3 screen wake setting grayed out and can’t tap back on

My charge 3 does not show the interface when I move my wrist anymore. I pressed the button until the option to turn on screen wake but it is grayed out and nothing happens when I tap on it. I have restarted the watch and I get the same results. Help!

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling and recommend confirming that you don't have "Sleep Mode” turned on: press and hold the button on your device. Tap the setting to turn it off. After that try to turn on Screen Wake setting. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
