My charge 3, purchased brand new in May 2019, died after a swim today. After completing my exercise it began intermittently buzzing with a blank screen. Placed on the charger and it completed a charge but the unit became very hot and before able to complete a reset the screen went to black and will not respond at all. If I put it on a charger it becomes very hot and nothing illuminates on the screen even after 30 minutes. Touching the button while on the charger is a dicey proposition, 15 seconds of attempting to press the button only makes your finger uncomfortably hot and the charge doesn't respond.

Hi @louie734, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 3 went blank and it won't turn on or take a charge. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
