Charge 3 screen went blank and no green lights flashing on the back

The subject  pretty much says it all     The screen went black and then when I followed all the other directions I got a white line on it and now nothing     I am not even able to turn it back on the green lights in the back are not on now what do I do

I tried what you have recommended but I still doesn't work. The last message showed up on my Charge 3 was an error about the clock faces. I tried to have my Charge 3 connecting to the Fitbit App but it says the device is not found. When I plug in the device, it vibrates but nothing shows up after 15 seconds.

I'm having the same issues. I need to know if there's a fix for this

This doesn't work. When holding the botton down the fitbit vibrates for the first ten seconds then stops. Then nothing happens. The icons do not appear, the face remains blank. And you can't change the clock face when the fitbit won't connect to the iPhone.

We've had the same issue and it all comes down to whether the device is doing anything at all. We had ours exchanged. You better reach out via support on Twitter, because this forum in many cases is not a platform that helps you out, other than getting verbatim copy and paste responses to issues.

 

If the device vibrates, it is an indication that the battery is charged. If the lights on the back are not flashing when the battery is charged and you follow the reset procedure and nothing happens (no lights on the back, no interface at all on the screen -> no dots, no icon, no smiley face, nothing), the device is broken and is likely not going to come alive anymore. A replacement is then the only option.

I was told to call Costomer Support- by FitBit was no longer covered by the warrenty so they gave me 25% off a new one- so that is what I did.

I got lucky, I'm still under warranty and will get a replacement.  Hang in there everyone and good luck.

yeah...same here. i bought mine in Jan 2019. Got it replaced around May-June 2019. And now it is out of warranty and they gave me discount. i don't think I will buy another fitbit again. I'm kinda disappointed since at the beginning.

I like the FitBit but they don't last. The inspire HR was on sale when I got it and with the discount it wasn't that much, so worth it.
Good Luck with whatever you get. The apple watches look great- but not the same as the fitbit.

I've had exactly the same problem. I've had my Fitbit for about 10 months now, did the latest update about a week ago, and yesterday morning it suddenly went blank - nothing on the face, no lights on the back and I can't get any response from the button.

 

I've tried all the fixes on this thread and it's still completely dead.

 

Can anyone help? I don't have a Twitter account and it looks like I have to create one if I want to get in touch with the Fitbit support team? Is that right?

My Charge 3 went black. Nothing helps. No help in the store I bought it. This is not ok. 1.5 years old.

I know it is upsetting- I called customer service- they gave me 25% off on a new one.
I have had multiple FitBits, I love them but they never last very long. I typically get the insurance but when I bought that one at Best Buy they no longer sold insurance.
I got a Inspire now with insurance through Fit Bit. We will see how long this one lasts.

My fitbit charge 3 is not showing charging icon and smily face when pluged in. It only do vibrations when pluged in and i have applied all the 8 sec and 15 sec hold method. It neither show any thing on screen nor the green flash and do only vibration when plugged in. I have not been using my fitbit for 6 to 8 months. Now i find these difficulties. Can anyone help me out please.
