Charge 3 screen went dark

All fine and good synch this AM and screen went dark and will not respond. Tried reset... nothing. Green light on back flash. Can feel occasional vib while holding button.

Same thing and can't get an answer anywhere.  Sorry I ever bought it.

Same thing here. Battery %  is fine, feel it vibrate when side is pressed but no display!!

I read that you place unit in charger and have connected to computer.

Hold button firmly for 15 seconds and then remove from charger.

Place back in charger and reconnect to computer.

For me, a white line appeared and then a smiley face and, low and behold, a full return to normal.

My screen went dark months ago I figured I hurt it somehow. Now it is completely black and I contacted FitBit and they said it is a known issue. After 45 min of troubleshooting, it is still black and they said I need to wait for a firmware update - with no timeframe whatsoever. Now my Fitbit is a paper weight. I'm very disappointed.
