Last night I went to charge up my Charge 3, but the screen was all messed up.  I couldn't read any of the numbers or see where it was at.  I decided to try and charge it to see if it would reset.  Still the same when I got up this morning.  So I searched and did the soft reset with the charger plugged in, held the button and it went off.  I took it off and then put it back on the charger to restart it.  The screen is still completely black now.  The green light comes on in the back and you can press the button and feel it vibrate but no screen.  I can get is synced to my phone so there is some connection.  I also saw that changing the watch setting also sometimes helped.  I did that on the app and it still is black.  I don't know what else to try.  I am lost without my fitbit.  Please help.

Try a Long Restart:

CHARGE 3 LONG RESTART
Connect the device to the charging cable.
While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
The device turns off.
The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Thank you for the advice. I just tried the instructions you gave me. I waited for the 7 vibrations unplugged and plugged back in to restart.  Its synched to my phone but still a black screen.
