My screen has gone almost entirely white. Reset does not work. Tried multiple times. Looks like screen burn? Device is less than 3 months old. Can’t send image from my phone. Please help. Very disappointed!

Hi! Mine worked for few months at that condition (white screen) but sadly,
it totally stopped working last December 2019. I suggest you contact
support for proper action.

Sincerely,

Can't believe there are many complaints about screen turning white (besides other threads complaining about vertical lines or missing lines). I bought one for my wife and she is having same problem since yesterday.  I have contacted "Get Support > Email" moments ago.  Let's see how long before they reply.

Mine is still under warranty since I bought it in 8/6/2019.

Hi all. I'm joining the white screen club as well. The screen on my Charge 3 spontaneously went white last night. I have tried all the resets, changed the clock face, and my app is up to date. A couple of months ago it stopped receive txt or phone call notifications.

This Fitbit has already been replaced once due to a blank screen.

So that makes 2 Fitbit charge 3 trackers that have gone bad on me in a year's time.

My fitbit charge 3 has been infected by this problem. I have tried numerous resets and it is getting worse. it just stays lit now for less than 1 second. It is unusable.

I also have the same issue. Woke up this morning wearing my fitbit and shows up as white screen like this, when I went to bed it was normal. How could this happen just overnight while sleeping?! I also took a picture, plugged it in, tried resetting it. Nothing is working I think the only way is getting it replaced. Perhaps some fit bits are just lemons ?? How to contact fitbit right now about it? This was a Christmas gift I’ve literally only had my charge 3 for a little over three months!!

Mine is having the same problem and I’ve tried restarting it and changing the clock face a few times to no avail. I’m just over the warranty limit. How did things workout for you?

I ended up buying a new charge 3 because it was out of warranty like yours.

you are lucky because it is under warranty; they will replace it fast.

My charge 3 screen has today turned white and it's over 12 months old. Will that mean I'll have to buy a replacement?

in the new charge 4? not sure if itis worth it,

I did.
I was way out of my warranty so all they’d offer was 25% off. And I didn’t realize a new one was coming out so I have the same one. I’m hoping I don’t get that issue again🤞
When you contact support (& you should) don’t be surprised if they are surprised about the issue and make you go they all the steps like people have mentioned. I think everyone should say something so hopefully they realize this is not our fault. There is something wrong and they should investigate send out a fix.
I ended up staying with Fitbit because I’ve been using their products for a long time. I’m not looking to switch companies (just yet).

Contact customer service and see what they offer. They did replace mine at 12 months 3 weeks. Also, check with your credit card. Some offer extended warranties which may cover your Fitbit if purchased with the card.

Changing the clock face didn't work for me. I've also shut it off and turned it back on. How can I fix my Fitbit??

You can’t fix it. I have tried everything too and it’s still white. Not only that but the battery dies very fast now! Have to charge it every second day and it’s being unresponsive, have trouble swiping, etc. Not many options for being able to contact customer service. I’ve tried. I went on Facebook and made a comment. Seeing many peoples complaints about their fitbits, ‘Fitbit’ replies with a generic response to all of us I guess. Only way is to PM them with details of your problem and give them your email. I’ll see where I get with that

My screen is being weird too! I was hoping to fix it, but it sounds like I will need to exchange it.
This bums me out!

Same problem here! Resets and changing click face make no difference. Device is 10 months old. Any ideas for how I can fix it??

I was able to get in contact with fitbit by phoning the 1-800 number. Awaiting my free replacement tracker as mine was only 3 months old. So they are replacing it. Only real option you have is to phone them

Hi there,

I seem to be having a similar white screen issue with my charge 3. Tried restarting which I couldn't do, and changing the clock face which did not resolve the issue.

What's the best way to get ahold of the support team?

Thanks,

Sara

Hi Sara,

My charge 3 had totally stopped (I used it only for more or less 1 year)
and I no longer contacted the support team. You can search Fitbit website,
maybe they can assist you better on what to do with your fitbit watch.

Hi!
Honestly I was so frustrated, I sent a tweet and they messaged me right away. From what I've researched and been told from the different forums and IT help desk is there's no real fix for it.
Now my battery dies a lot faster and my screen isn't working properly. I'm going to ask for a replacement. I haven't even had my Fitbit 2 years yet.
