Charge 3 screen won't turn on when I turn my wrist

Many times when i turn my wrist to try to activate the screen, it doesn't turn on and i have to do it many times before it does which can be frustrating

Pressing the side button worked. Just scroll up when you see a different display than the normal one and you should see screen wake. Somehow mine was turned off :s.

Don't know quite how it turned off but that's solved the issue thanks

For me, tapping the screen awake didn't do anything, rather I had to hit the sleep setting above that and it turned on my awake.

Nothing happens when I tap "Screen Wake"  Also other settings are not active

mine doesn’t show a wake on it turns on after i charge it, but it just shuts off after and i can’t get it to turn back on. any help?

thank you for this; but in the last couple of weeks I have had to use your technique more than once because the screen wake keeps shutting off?  I am not shutting it off so cannot figure out why this would happen.  I have only owned this Fitbit for 6 months, it shouldn't be having these troubles so soon.

Nothing works....can someone PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to get my screen wakeup back. I have done all of your advice and I see screenwake-up but when you say "choose it" HOW do you choose it? It is sort of grey but does not appear to be off. How do you CHOOSE an option when you are scrolling through 20-30 screens? How do you tell your watch not to delete all settings when you do an upgrade? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ready to throw it in the river, and bummed because it worked great for a month where it would wake up when I moved my wrist and would do this fireworks thing when I hit my step goal, but now it does neither despite trying many different things to get these back.

tap the screen twice to get to the clock menu. Fitbit shows this in the tips quite frequently and it always works. Annoying though. I miss having it turn on when I turn my wrist.
