Charge 3 screen won't turn on

My screen has been blank for a while - it still vibrates when I plug in the charge and the app on my phone is registering my activity but everything i've tried isn't working..letting the battery totally drain, charging overnight etc.  am i doomed to wear 2 watches - 1 to tell time and 1 to track my steps or is there a magic option that may do the trick?

Hi @trekandwalk, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since the screen is blank and it won't turn on. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Thanks for the help! I did the restart and  tried to change the clock face and that won't work either, perhaps it is just tired of working properly and I'll just have to live with it the way it is!

thanks for the helpful suggestions, I seem to have tried everything without success so it might be time to look into something else!
