Charge 3 screen won't turn on

The fit bit app just updated my charge 3 and now the clock screen is blank..push button/ tap screen does not help. Seems to be tracking everything.  Just clock and all the features do not work.

Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Charge 3 since the clock face is blank and it won't turn on.

 

Please restart your Charge 3 as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see the screen issue gets fixed.

Tried restarting a couple times and changed the clock face. The screen is still blank.

Did as suggested, still not working. Frustrating, because it worked fine
before the update.

Mine did the same exact thing and my screen is still black. Mine was fine before the update and then there were lines across it so I tried to reset it and it never came back on. I'm still wearing it because it still tracks my sleep and steps and stuff and I have an alarm set on it that still goes off when I need it to. Why do they try to fix something that wasn't broken? It is beyond frustrating.

My screen had lines through it, couldn't see it all outside, now it's been blank for several days. I wear it because it still tracks. But one night it only register 3 hrs of sleep and I know I got more than that. And this morning it didn't give me a sleep score, even though I got 10 hrs of sleep. But it being black kind of defeats having a watch on my wrist. And thinking back, I'm not alerted to phone calls or texts for quite awhile.
