Hello All!
So I decided to upgrade from Charge 2 to charge 3 and I am currently registering my fitbit with the insurance provider. I'm asked for the serial number. On the box, it states one thing (12 alphanumeric), but when I go on the Fitbit site and look at the URL that contains my serial number, it conflicts (also 12 alphanumeric). I did pick up that the letters and numbers in both serials are the same, just in a different order. Which serial should I use? the one on the box? or the one showing on the url??
The fitbit packaging was brand new, not tampered condition from where I purchased it (a vendor at the airport).
any and all suggestions is welcomed!
Thank you!

not sure if this makes a difference, but my fitbit is a Charge 3 Special Edition (aka the one with the lilac purple fabric band and black silicone band). I neglected to mention this in the original post and can't seem to edit it...

Hello, were you able to get any further clarity why the 12 alphanumeric on the url is in different order vs the one on the box?
I recently bought an 'open box' charge 3 at a liquidator and observed one of the straps has been switched. So would like to confirm that the device belongs to the box. Similar to what you observed, the serial# on the box and url comprise the same 12 alphanumeric, but in different order.
Thanks!
