Hi

My charge 3 is fully sync'd but the 24hr clock face will only show the first 12 hours. Its currently 20:57 but the clockface is showing this as 08:57.

My steps etc are all sync'd up, Ive tried uninstalling / installing the app but it hasnt worked.

Help please

Hi @MrsLJ4,

There is a bug with the Inspire HR where you need to change to 24 hour time on the website. I know it's a charge 3 but the bug might be with the Charge 3 too
I'd suggest getting on the website changing to 12 hour, sync, change to 24 hours and see how that goes

Welcome on board @MrsLJ4, it's nice to see you around here! Thanks for already trying to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. Nice way to go!

While reading your post I was wondering what's the Clock Face you have set? Is it the Charge 2 Retro? Note that all depends on the clock face you select.

Have you tried a different one than the one you've set now?

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

Hi thanks for replying.

You were correct about the clock face I had been using. I have changed it to asymmetrical clock and the time is still incorrect. It is 22:47 but the clock face shows 10:47.

I have tried again uninstalling / reinstalling the app but it hasnt worked.

Thanks for your help

Thanks for coming back @MrsLJ4 and for testing your clock face my friend and for troubleshooting this again.

As mentioned above, all depends on the clock face you select. Keep in mind that they have different designs,

Try switching to one that actually shows the 24 hr format. I remember Double Stat showed the 24 hr format. I'm currently using Charge 2 Retro.

Let me know which one do you choose, I'll be around! Robot Very Happy

Hi thanks again for your reply.

Ive now tried all the clock face options and the only ones thats that show the time properly are analog stat and analog data. However I want to have a digital clock face showing the 24 hr time as I find this better.

Im really confused why this wont work as my old fitbit had no problem.

Could there be something else in the app that I need to select?  If not I can only assume my fitbit is faulty.

Hi WallyWalrick

Brilliant, that worked perfectly.  I hadn't realised there was a setting on the Personal section on the dashboard for 12 or 24 hour display.  Seems odd that it can't be managed from the app.  Huge thanks 🙂

Glad that worked for you but I am trying to change my Charge 3 to 12 hour format.  It won't stay.  My friend has the exact same one as me and she can get the 12 hour format in the digital display but mine won't stay changed.

Hello there @Skayney, thanks for stopping by! Thanks for letting us know you've already compared to your friend's Charge 3 to make sure the clock face works.

Can you please click here and send me a screenshot showing what mine below shows?

To change your clock to a 12 or 24 hour clock:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon.
  2. Choose Settings > Personal Info.
  3. Under Advanced Settings, find Clock Display Time and select whether you want the time shown in 12-hour or 24-hour clock units.
  4. Click Submit and sync your device.

None of the replies above address the problem with the clock faces in the Charge 3. If you select 12 hour format (which I know is set in the website profile) then the clock choices in the fitbit app such as "charge 2 retro" or "retro double stat" etc etc show a misleading zero in front of the pm times.  Patently wrong.  If its 15.00 in 24 hour setting then it should be 3.00 in 12 hour (NOT 03.00).  My Charge 2 displayed this correctly.  No moderator or fitbit person above seems to understand this. Even if  the face does not show pm or am there should NEVER be a leading "0" in the afternoon times like 03.00 which refers to am time. (In my opinion of course).

Thank you JohnF. I have come to the conclusion that I cannot display a 24
hour clock on my Fitbit so I will stick with the 03:00 for 3pm which is
totally wrong.
