My old Charge 3 screen went blank, so I got a replacement. I did the setup process, it gave me the code, I entered the code, I got the smiley face and the checkmark on the tracker screen, then the screen went right back to setup (the fitbit logo with www.fitbit.com/setup scrolling under it). So I tried it again. This time after entering the code and getting the checkmark, the display just shows a horizontal line across the middle. What is going on?
Note that I moved my old fitibit far away before doing any of this so the setup wouldn't get confused. I also moved my phone far away and turned off Bluetooth on the phone.
I did the setup while linked to my Windows PC with the fitbit connected to the charger. This has worked for previous fitbits.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @BethThom. Thanks for letting us know about the steps you have followed in order to set up your replacement Charge 3.
I would recommend trying the set up through your phone. Remove old Charge 3 of Bluetooth settings and try setting up your new Charge 3 as a replacement device. Follow instructions of: How do I set up a replacement device or add a second device to my account?
