My fit bit is just giving me the option to log Pilates . I don’t even have it on my app!? Any suggestions?

@Parkersspace are you asking about how to start recording an exercise with your Charge 3?

Or are you asking about how to load the exercises that you want to do onto the Charge 3.

Have you read the exercise FAQ

I figured it out finally and got it fixed.  I was trying to figure out how to access the exercise shortcuts on the app to set them.  I coudln't find them listed on either my phone app or my computer fitbit.com.  I finally found them on both, it was weird like the didn't show up at first, found them on fitbit.com first, put in the 6 shortcuts I wanted then they showed on the fitbit app on my phone. Didn't solve my issue though, watch still showed all pilates lol.  Finally restarting the watch with the watch screen restart finally loaded the exercise shortcuts I had chosen.  Thank you so much for trying to answer.

But i just had to reset it again, it went back to the Pilates instead of the exercise shortcuts I have chosen again today.  Pain.  not sure how to make it stop happening.

It happened to me too. I deleted my Charge and set it up again. Did this numerous times and reordered them online. Then about 36 hours after I made those changes, my Fitbit went back to the exercise short cuts I had set. Haven’t had a problem with them since. 🤞🏻Hope that will happen for you.

Thanks. It partly worked for me. It was not possible to sync, so I put it in the charger and forced a reboot. Then the tracker synced with my preferred activity list.

I have this same problem and have tried all of the suggestions. This problem started with the last FitBit update and sounds like there needs to be a behind the scenes fix and a new FitBit update to get rid of the problem.

Thank you all for your update. Now I know I am not crazy doing odd things all the time.

My final option is to restart my Charge 3, which I plan to do when I get home tonight.

I rebooted my charge 3 then synced it and the exercises finally matched the app.

Same pblm for me but your solutions changed nothing for me. I don’t want to lose my data. What can I do now?

Don’t know what else you can do. I ended up having battery life issues also and Fitbit replaced mine.

@cdecordo the accepted solution is to clear all the exercise apps from your tracker, sync the tracker, confirm that all exercise app have been cleared, then add back the wanted exercises.

As for your data, once it has synced your data is safely stored in the cloud not the tracker or phone.

Thanks for your assistance, but I still have the pblm. Here’s what I did;

Deleted all exercise shortcuts on Fitbit Charge 3 page and synced numerous times but no change. Is there another screen to delete all exercises?

Also, when I attempted to add the Charge 3 again it self aborted stating there was a pblm.

Happened to me again today. This is QUITE ANNOYING.😡

Is there a software update solution for the PILATES thing? I've moved that activity to another spot in my Dashboard to see if the issue has to do with pilates being last on the list.

None of these things has helped me.   Any other advice?

Mine goes back to pilates if i change anything on the settings.  So first go to the fitbit.app or settings on fitbit.com where you click the settings gear top right corner then the photo of the charge 3, rest is similar to phone app as explained here, Depending if you are on the new updated ugly one or old one (mine updated today unfortunately, i had not been letting it).  click the square in the right corner on the old one, or on the new app click your profile photo in the top left corner.  Then one touch of the Charge 3 photo. Scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts.  Here you can see your preset short cuts and delete up to 5 of your short cuts by touching the word "edit" in the top right, and then add in the short cuts you want by touching the + (plus) sign. So i just hit edit, then the red circle with the - (minus sign) on the walk short cut.  I hit save.  Then i hit the + Exercise Shortcut, written in gray at the bottom of your screen.  Here i added in treadmill (6 is the most you can have).  Here keep adding and saving until you have 6 exercise short cuts you want.  When you are done each save and then go back to your main screen.

Now you set them up but you need them to show on your watch.  Syncing alone never works for me, my watch will show pilates or my old ones, it won't update until I go to the Settings actually on the charge 3 and then scroll to reset. on the watch, not by using the cord or anything, i have to reset on the watch.  So following is how to get to that on your charge 3:

1.  I swipe the charge 3 screen to the left 3 times, that brings me from the clock, to exercise, to timers alarms,  then weather and settings.

2 Tap Settings and scroll down by swiping the screen up until you see the word about.

3. Click/touch the word "about'

4.Scroll down by swiping up until you see the last screen and it says "Reboot Device".

5 Tap on the Reboot Device word, this will reboot the device without losing any information.  At this point it will reboot and start back up on it's own.  Then and only then, will my newly chosen exercise shortcuts show up on my charge 3.

Give it a try, this works for me every time.

Just an FYI, the only thing that updates my charge 3 to my saved exercise shortcuts is the step above where I actually reboot the charge 3 from the physical watch itself as I stated above.  I can clear just the one that says pilates and put in a new, i can clear all and put in 6 new ones on the app, none of that will show on my charge 3 until I also reboot the charge 3.  I do it quite often and have no issues if i perform the reboot.

I followed the instructions but it told me to abort as it had experienced a problem. I’ve tried deleting and adding again then syncing but that didn’t work either
