Charge 3 shortcuts only showing Pilates as an option

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

My fitbit changed all of the exercise modes I have selected for it to pilates, so I now have 6 options, all of which are pilates.

This isn't reflected in the dashboard, which still holds the original options that I chose. I've tried moving these around a little and hitting 'save', then syncing the watch, but still, only pilates.

Is there a way to fix this or do I just have to take up pilates?

Hello @Metcon23, it's nice to see you around! Thanks for trying to solve this issue prior contacting us. Nice way to go!

I was experiencing the same, but I fixed mine by going into the exercise shortcuts and deleting all of the ones listed (my Charge 3 was showing Pilates, Pilates, Pilates but my app listed run, treadmill, bike etc). Then, I re -added the ones I wanted and synced my phone again. Robot Very Happy

If that doesn't work, please be so kind to set up your Charge 3 as a replacement device by following these instructions:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Give this a shot and let me know the outcome, I'll be around.

My fitbit changed 3 of my exercises to Pilates.  I do not do that.  Changed them in the phone but it did not change them in the watch.  I tried to reload the Charge 3, it will send the numbers, I put them in but then the message is something went wrong and I should abort.  Can anyone help?

Welcome to the Community Forums @ddtkmw! I'm very sorry for the late response. Thanks for following the steps suggested above. Since the recommendation didn't work, please be so kind to set up your Charge 3 as a replacement device by following these instructions:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Welcome on board @awalters2010. Please go to the exercise shortcuts and delete all of the ones listed. Then, re -add the ones you want and sync with your phone to save the changes.

Give this a go and let me know the outcome.

To clarify tjusy fix, which I have had to do twice in the past week...🙄...you have to 'un-pair' and delete your current Fitbit device from the app then 'set up a new device'.

It should restore the exercise options on the device. 👍

I have the same issue. I tried deleting the exercises, setting up my Charge 3 as a replacement device and deleting the Fitbit app. No luck, I do get an error message with an abort when trying to replace device.
