Charge 3 showing black lines on the screen

Hi

I have had my Fitbit Charge 3 for 15 month as it has been working perfectly

Now all of a sudden I am seeing black lines across the top of the screen and it has stopped vibrating completely - doesn't even vibrate now when I press the button on the side

I've tried restarting (put on charge, hold button in until smiley face etc...) and I've tried changing the settings but nothing has worked

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I got the Charge 3 last summer. I've already had to have FitBit send me a new one because my screen quite working. It was still collecting my steps and such and i could see the info on the app. But the screen was completely black (after only having it for a couple month). In the last couple months I've noticed now i have lines on it too. It's like the screen is slowly starting to not work again. This is i think my 3rd FitBit (started with the charge HR, then the charge 2 and now 3) and i've had to have all of them replaced, all in less than a year of having each one. Now still under a year this is the 2nd Charge  3 that the screen is going out on. Thinking this will be my last fitbit.

I've had my Charge 3 for about 18 months and it's recently started doing the same. After removing it from its charger, a black line has appeared in the pixels along the top of the screen. I've changed the face on it to try and make it less obvious but it's still there. This is obviously a known fault?

I too have a Charge 3 with black lines obscuring time as well as all other info.  I called support and short story was told since this was my 2nd  Charge 3 replacement ( the first and second ones would not sync) that the warranty was over.  The warranty was only good for the original. Even though this Charge 3 was less than 1 year old., I am only entitled to 25% off a new purchase.  Bottom line, the product can only be expected to last 1 year.  Very disappointed in the quality of fit bit

Hi there,

I have experienced the same issue as mentioned above. However this will be my third Charge 3 to be replaced in less than a year. To me this seems like either I am doing something that is damaging the hardware, which I don't believe I am as I'm currently not working and when I was it was a desk job. Is there a larger issues with the Charge 3 or is it at least a recognised issue? If it is then I would look to get a different Fitbit, I like the Charge 3 a lot but I'm tired of keep having to have it replaced it every few months. Thanks!
