I have had a Charge 3 for over a year. This week it updated and is no longer working. I get a 001 error. I have been on the forum and tried the fix - plugging it in, holding he button for 25 seconds - it vibrates and then i get a happy face and then nothing. I have turned on always connected and tried to change to clock face with no luck.
I have spoken to the help online and she recommended the same fix and said if that doesn't work the Fitbit is defective and can't be fixed. Because it is no longer under warranty she gave me a coupon for 25% off a new one. I don't want to spend the money on a new one now that I see many people have had this problem in the past week, even with a new Fitbit.
I'm sure it's a software issue with the new update! Fitbit needs to stand behind their product! What is the probability that the next update will fix this problem? They just want me to spend more money!
