Hello, my Charge 3 been working fine 4 days, but all of a sudden it was unable to sync and showed an error as Tracker Not Found. I had to do a "New Device / Replace Your Tracker" to get it back to work again. Why will this happen?
Thanks,
-Siva

The problem with removing the device in the Fitbit app is that you lose any data on the Fitbit Charge 3 since your last since.
If I'm doing this frequently, I'm losing a lot of my steps, sleep tracking, etc.
This is disappointing.

Welcome on board @Moodyinla, it's nice to have a new member around! Instead of removing the tracker from the Fitbit app, I'd recommend removing the Charge 3 from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
In order to solve this, you'll need to go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Charge 3 and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Forget this device" for iOS and "Unpair" for Android.
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
Hope this helps!

I had "not syncing" issue in the end of December. Managed to "fix it" by deleting all user data from Charge 3, removing it from Fitbit app, and adding it again. Last time I lost 2 weeks sync data. Now, after about one month use, I have the same issue again. Really disappointing there is no fix for this.

I have the same problem. I checked the Fitbit help section and it tells me how to restart the Charge 3 "If you can’t sync Fitbit Charge 3, or if you have trouble with connected GPS or tracking your stats, you can restart your tracker from your wrist. From the clock face, swipe to Settings and tap Reboot Device."
My Charge 3 doesn't have a Reboot Device option under Settings.

Well, I got it to sync finally by disabling the Charge 3 on my cell phone, a Samsung Galaxy S8+. It gives me the snapshot on the Dashboard on the Fitbit app but not the heart rate. It shows the steps, miles, cals, exercise minutes, and floors updated as of the moment of sync but the display is frozen, it no longer follows the steps as I work on the elliptical machine. The heart rate monitor on the app doesn't work at all, it either sits at 71 resting or has a beating heart at 113 bpm, nothing else. On the watch it gives a reasonably accurate heart rate but the app isn't getting that info at all, no matter how many times I sync it. It's a pain to have to check the watch for my heart rate.
This is my second Charge 3, not particularly impressed. I'm 65 years old and the heart rate monitor is the primary reason I bought this model. Right now the watch says 88 bpm, close to my actual hr, the app when sync'd says 113 bpm. 😞

Mine's playing up too - can't synch - have now tried to pair it again, and can't. Any suggestions?

The option in in settings, under “about.” Just worked for me.

I found it under the "Settings" menu, and then you need to scroll to the bottom. Select "About" and the last option in that menu is "Reboot Device."

am so frustrated....it seems that fitbit still has not gotten a fix to the syncing issues. We keep getting the same answers from the support team....we shouldn't have to keep doing all this over and over again. I noticed too that fitbit stock is losing some ground. We may want to deal with these issues. My fitbit ONE worked flawlessly but now I upgrade because I lost my ONE and it has been horrible. Took back a versa and quite honestly wish I would have taken back the charge 3 too. It is registering an ungodly amount of steps and so unreliable. I am disappointed to say the least

Worked for me as well this morning - the reboot of the charge three from the settings menu on the Charge 3. I didn't lose any data, so only a minor inconvienence. After all these years of owning a Fitbit ,you really would have thought they would have this all done perfectly - it really is annoying you have to do this. Mind to be fair, I have similar lost Bluetooth issues with my Macbook Pro 2018 with Mojave. Perhaps it's more to do with the Bluetooth standard. Bluetooth has issues, no doubt about that.

Didn't work for me. I had removed the device to try to fix my original problem. Now I can't get anything
