I keep getting an error message that "bonding failed". What is the error message about and how do I fix it?

What steps are you doing and what 2 items are you wanting to bond, @faylou
Has your Charge 3 been setup to your fitbit account?

Welcome to the Community, @faylou and @Rich_Laue, thanks for the input.
Can you please provide me with more information about this error you are seeing? Where are you seeing it? What are you trying to pair, is it the tracker or a feature?.
I hope to hear from you soon. 🙂

When I open up the app on my laptop. I also have the app on my android phone. I don't get the error message when I open up the app on my phone, only on my laptop (which I use more than the phone.

Rich, I am only trying to bring up the Fitbit app to sync.
I have no idea what "bonding" is!
I am not interested in doing anything other than performing a sync & looking at my stats.
My laptop keeps looking for my Charge2, which refuses to pair with my computer.
Both worked perfectly fine with my Android phone, but my phone died.
I want to save my stats until a new phone arrives

Well, maybe it will work well enough until my new phone arrives
I removed the Charge2 from my Fitbit account (it was not paired with the laptop anyway!) & then the Charge3 synced; I'll see if it continues to work
