Even when my wife puts her charge 3 on a red light stays on next to her wrist. What's up with that?

Hi there @Smcanulty, welcome to the Community Forums.

In regards to the red light, the optical heart rate tracker turns red during the tracking of sleep and changes the green shortly after you are awake. This is an expected behavior and not an issue.

Let me know if you have any questions present.

My Charge 3 did this same thing, does it come on when you take it off and the other lights turn off? The red light is actually for the SpO2 sensor (which isn't available yet), Fitbit replaced mine because that is a defect.
