I have the same problem as everyone else -- have tried the long & short resets, but nothing works. The unit is less than a year old and was purchased through Amazon in December 2019. Please advise regarding a return for replacement.

Hi @EntilZa, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Charge 3 is also showing vertical lines across. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like to know if you also tried changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face.

The clock face is the default provided by Fitbit; it's never been changed to any third party option and I wasn't even aware that was possible.
Given that this same behavior has been reported by thousands of other users, it's clear the product has a defect.
