Hi fellow Charge 3 users,
I’m a new new user and having issues with the counts of stairs. It’s all over the place. Have read earlier posts and moderators claim problem is fixed. I don’t believe it. Anyone else in same situation. Incidentally, I’m a migraine sufferer and know all about pressure changes. Have I now got to worry that my Fitbit won’t work properly when it’s stormy?

Update for those that are still having this issue.
As you can see in the graph, the floor count went all wrong when I switched to the Charge 3 early 2019 and it suddenly dropped to normal values when I got a replacement early 2020. Ever since, it has functioned as it's supposed to.
As indicated by others in some of the many threads, it is most likely related to water: swimming, or wearing it under the shower seems to be the cause. My guess is that water gets into the pressure gauge/sensor and then it starts giving misreadings. One of the reason's for upgrading from Charge 2 to Charge 3 was it being waterproof, but I no longer use it for swimming. Maybe, by the time I would switch to another device, I will test it again by taking it for a swim.

I'm having the same problem. I generally climb hills on my walk, which equates to 30 flights of stairs. Yesterday my fitbit said I climbed 161 stairs -- Ain't no way.

I gave up after weeks of attempts and many phone calls to tech support. That’s it for me and Fitbit. Negative reviews from me. I don’t know what my next one will be- I don’t like the look and style of the apple watches. Sigh. This was my third Fitbit too.

I agree, just want it to work. My charge 3 stairs use to work. About Jan. 2022 became inaccurate - mowing lawn-boom 60 floors!
