I am SO frustrated with Fitbit. I am on my third Charge 3 in only a year. The first two both completely died after only a few months of totally normal use and I had to fight with Fitbit for weeks to get a replacement when the second one died. Now my third one is acting funny. First, it was brought to my attention by a fellow neighborhood walker that my route is actually much longer than what Fitbit tells me. I do the same loop every morning and Fitbit estimates anywhere from 1.5 to 1.75 miles and about 3500 steps. I have mapped the exact same route on Google Maps and Map My Walk and they both say 2.2 miles! Which means for my height of 5'3", I should be getting about 2400 steps per mile, for a total of at least 5000 for my daily walk. It makes me so mad that my Charge 3 is way underestimating my activity. It has also stopped registering my active minutes. I get some when I walk, but then I can do a hard cardio/weight workout for 30 minutes and be huffing and puffing and dripping sweat and it gives me zero. Last issue that's been happening the past few weeks is that even when my device shows I have all 14/14 active hours for the day, my app routinely tells me I missed an hour when I am positive did not!
I am so tired of having a device that doesn't do what it's supposed to. Way past time to upgrade to an Apple Watch.
