Last night my charge three stopped displaying anything but the clock face. When I try to see my steps her heart rate or anything I swipe my finger across the screen button nothing happens it seems to be frozen on the clock face. Did something change or was some kind of update pushed out that could cause this malfunction? I just received this device for Christmas, i’m hoping it hasn’t gone bad in just less than a month.....

I was able to fix the problem, I went to Settings in the Fitbit app and changed the clock face, once I did that, everything worked the way it was supposed to again.

Mine is doing the same exact thing. Working fine last night, and now, all I have is the clock. I can't get anything else to come up when swiping or tapping. I just got this also for Christmas. Please help. I am not sure how to reset the Base

Same here...the display has stopped showing anything, but the clock seems to record everything....pulse, workouts, sleeps and so on....but annoying not having the display. Should we go the shop where we bought and get a replacement?

I tried to change the clock face and it was giving me an error. I will try to restart it when I get to see if that will fix

I was able to restart my Fitbit and all is good now. Try restarting. You will have to plug it into the charger, then hold the side button down until you get a smiley face. Then it should be good to go and you can unplug from the charger

Still dont work for me...charged the clock till full level. Removed it from the charger. Set the clock face in the iPhone App. Plugged the clock into the charger and put the cable into the usb where I normally charge it. Pressed and held the button for at least 20 seconds. Nothing happend except for some vibrating at 10-12 seconds. No smiley face as before.

It took me a few tries. Got the vibration too. I had trouble holding the button down. But it did work. Does Fitbit even monitor this forum? They should weigh in. Clearly a fix is warranted. Sounds like a common problem.
