Charge 3 stopped syncing, now won't hold charge

I've had my Charge 3 for less than a year, as me and my bestie received them for Christmas from her parents. She's had no issues with hers, but in the last 1-2 months mine has died unexpectedly. Would hold full battery and last for about a week. I would put it back on the cradle and it would immediately come back to life, working for a day or two, or a mere few hours. Put it back on the cradle to make sure fully charged, and repeat that it would just die unexpectedly.

Completely frustrated since I've taken great care of mine, cleaned it, charged it appropriately, and with the right cables and cradle. Had no issues for a good 6 months.

First noticed it would just die unexpectedly, button wouldn't work, so I'd charge it. That helped, but still unexpectedly would go from 50% to 0% or 33% to 0%, or even 78% then 0%. I rebooted it, I restarted it, I've perused all the Forums here thinking I would fix it on my own.

I left it alone for 2 days to make sure was completely drained. It stopped working completely for 2 days, wouldn't hold a charge. I did another long reset (holding the power button down while it was on the charging cradle) and that worked yesterday, but only got to 30% charge after 24 hours of being charged. I am tech savvy, I've perused and seen all the multitude of Charge 3 issues people are having like mine, either not holding a charge, or dying unexpectedly.

Please help, I really like my Fitbit and it helps me keep my exercise, sleep and health on track!

Has there been any resolution to this?  Mine stopped holding a charge all of a sudden - now it goes from 100% to 0% in a matter of seconds, and won't sync with my phone at all.  It is basically dead.
