My fitbit has stopped recording my heartrate as of the most recent update. The hr tile is completely faded out on my tracker and my hr stats on the app haven't tracked since December 28.
I also keep getting a restart message under notifications. I restart and the 24 hours later it asks for another restart.

Hi there @digwriter, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided.
This happened to my 3 days ago just after the firmware update. But, I found out that the update had apparently shut off the heart rate setting on my tracker. After having reset it to 'on', the heart rate monitoring came on again and also my sleep stages. So, open the Settings app and find Heart Rate. Make sure Heart Rate is On.
In regards to the syncing difficulties, I was wondering if you're getting the error message "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker."? If so, thanks for letting us know about this issue. We’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.
Please let us know if there's anything we can do to assist you in the meantime.
